To find a Jem of a restaurant in central London is somewhat of a challenge to say the least. Just off Tottenham Court Road on Great Russell Street is the smallest Korean Jem of all. The Seoul Bakery is a tiny 15 seat restaurant serving authentic Korean dishes at reasonable prices (especially for central London).
The restaurant walls are covered in the names and scribblings of almost every person that has ever been thought the door...... or at least it seems like that anyway!

It’s quirky and unfussy. The decor is as simple as you can get. But the absolute joy of the Seoul Bakery it’s food. Authentic and tasty dishes await anyone that ventures inside. You’ll be lucky if there is a seat available without a wait. There are only 15 seats (2 tables of 6 and a bench with 3 stools) so you absolutely will be sitting with other dinners. So, if you are expecting a private dining experience, you’re probably going to be disappointed. But if you want a lively, stuffed to the rafters eating experience, then you’re gonna love it.
Stir-fried pork belly

Don’t worry if you aren't super familiar with Korean food, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They will guide you through the menu and give you some great recommendations.
Savory seafood pancake

We went for the stir-fried pork belly: (A little spicy but packed with flavour). Soak up the oily juices left at the bottom of the dish with some plain rice. Bulgogi Ghimbap: Korean seaweed rolls. Similar to California rolls. Savory seafood pancake: Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, filled with fresh seafood such as oysters and squid. Beef Bibimbap: possibly the most famous dish of Korea. If you're in the mood for Korean food (and let's face it, who isn’t), then give the Seoul Bakery a visit.
